Ski Trail Report 01/23/2024

We rolled the Drummond Ski trails for the first time today.  John Knight and I went out to cut and remove deadfall (there wasn’t much) and to roll what snow we have had since the beginning of the winter (there wasn’t much.)  It was a bumpy ride on the snowmobile over the thinly covered surface.  It rolled nicely, but the pretty ridges are hiding all the rocks and uneven ground lurking under the snow.  Skiing in our hayfield is as good as what you’ll find on the Drummond Trails. Way too thin to even think about setting tracks.
